This White Pines Access program offers short term or long-term residencies custom-designed for schools and social service organizations. 

From improvisation, to storytelling, to playwrighting, White Pines Access will design a before-, during-, or after-school program to fit your needs.  Our goal is to increase a student’s participation in the arts by making the arts accessible while building creativity, reflection, confidence, and collaboration skills.

White Pines Access specializes in working with :

  • Youth and Young Adults with Disabilities.

  • English Language Learners

  • Students K-8th

  • High School Students

PRE-RESIDENCY

Planning meeting between program administrators, classroom teachers, the White Pines Director of Education, and Teaching Artists.

RESIDENCY

In school or after-school sessions can be customizable, ranging between 4-24 sessions.

Each residency is structured to give students skill-based learning in improvisation and creative drama, moving into a process of creating their own original theatrical piece.

Residency culminates with a sharing for parents, peers, administrators, and students, capped off with reflection and celebration.

POST-RESIDENCY

Follow-up between classroom teacher, White Pines Director of Education, and Teaching Artists. All assessments and rubrics will be collected.
